MVP Reawarded

Things have been so busy with my big project, I actually forgot to post about being reawarded my MVP status.

I love being an MVP and it allows be to chat to so many interesting people throughout the world. I am definately not up with some people like Mitch Denny and Greg Low who are leaders of our community, but hopefully can add my little bit of value to the world.

So big thanks and my target this year is to increase windows mobile development in the partner community.

Presenting at SBTUG

Craig Bailey has asked me back to fill in for a 11th hour cancellation by the government at this month’s SBTUG meeting, back to back meetings are scarey so hopefully I can come up with some good content.

What I am going to cover is “Assessing a Business Idea” … Basically I will covering a checklist of how to assess good ideas to see if they are worth persuing or not. I hopefully we be hearing lots of other great assessment techniques and look forward to seeing lots of other people there.

Help: Kokoda is moving closer … Camp Quality looking for sponsors

Myself and some other friends including my father are planning to walk the Kokoda Track next year in July to raise some money and awareness for Camp Quality. I am hoping to bring along some windows mobile gear, including a UMPC or Tablet, to show technology on the move can do including attempting to blog along the track.

Camp Quality does more than just look after kiddies with cancer they also support for the family unit. When kiddies are sick it takes so much of the parents attention, this means other things like kids, family and relationships are also on hold. Thank goodness Camp Quality attempts to also addresses these needs.

We are hoping to raise $90,000 to send the kids to their first ever snow camp. More information about the trek can be read on: http://cqkokodatrek.21publish.com/. Their will be press and TV coverage leading up to the event to help your profile
